  1. Drink in an Igloo, kind of, at The Absolut Ice Bar in Stockholm, Sweden



Stockholm’s Ice Bar, which opened in 2002, is probably the most celebrated alcoholic attraction in Sweden. It drew 70,000 visitors in its first year, has been featured on the BBC and CNN, and has been frequented by such celebrities as Pierce Brosnan and Sweden’s own Stellan Skarsgård. This place really does give new meaning to the phrase “on the rocks” To complete the experience, drinks are even served in hollow ice cubes, on a bar made of clear ice blocks! Start off your stay in Belgium with a tour of Bruges. Bruges is a little town located in the east of Belgium. There’s a special charm in spring when daffodils carpet the tranquil courtyard of the historic begijnhof retreat, or in winter (except Christmas) when you can have the magnificent if icy, a town almost to yourself.

If you’re looking for more of a party, then jump on a train to Brussels, and visit Delirium Cafè where they have 2500 kinds of beer on tap! It’s very easy to find. You can’t miss the infamous Delirium sign of the pink elephant.



  1. Go to a party in Ibiza, Spain



Some things you can only get away with when you’re young, partying the night(s) away in Ibiza is one of them! Jump on a train to Ibiza in the opening or closing week for a real experience!  These two weeks, the opening happening in May and the closing in August/September, host huge international artists from all around the world.



  1. Go to Sziget, Europe’s Biggest Music Festival In Budapest, Hungary



If you’re a big fan of music festivals you should make Sziget a priority. Every year this week-long festival plays host to huge international acts You can either camp at it, or stay in Budapest which is just a stone’s throw away as the festival takes place on an island in the center of the city!



  1. Go Ghost Hunting In Edinburgh, Scotland



Far below the busy Edinburgh streets there lies a dark, quiet, forgotten place. In the mid-1980s a set of Underground Vaults were discovered – chambers that had been abandoned for nearly two hundred years. These wonderful dark rooms are built of ancient Edinburgh stone, with arched ceilings, fireplaces and 18th-century wine vaults. if you don’t believe in ghosts this tour makes the history of Edinburgh really interesting. This is totally worth the 13 quid (11 if you’re a student!).
